Recipes Remembered

Written by June Feiss, this book is the culmination of over 100 separate oral interviews with Jewish holocaust survivors. Most of the stories are of immigrant experiences to Cuba and the United States in the years preceding the second world war. Feiss took their stories and their recipes and used her writing experience to create a written cuisine history.
